their no option to format phone memory only memory card can be formatted plz tell how to format PHONE MEMORY 6270... is their any software????

that is what i was told to do when i troubleshot the problem i am having with my epson stylus rx500 printer. when i insert the memory card in the correct slot of the printer it says "no memory card found". how does one format the memory card?? it also said to try a new memory card . it is compatible sd card that came with my canon super shot camera. any ideas?? i want to print the images on this card from the printer. if i print them from the computer they do not come out well at all. thanks a lot!!!!!!!!!

picasa is a Google's photo software. It's what should've come with your camera.
It can Edit , organise and Share you picture and small video flips.
It's very easy to use and is free, just like Google

presumably because that camera has not seen that memory card before and cannot write files to it until it is formatted in a way your camera recognises..

Look in the "Setup" menu and there will be a format option. Just press the OK button and then when asked if you really want to erase all the images, answer yes.
If in doubt look in your owners manual.

When i tried to use the memory card it said that i needed to format it and it asked me if i wanted to format it and i pressed yes and it said format failed =(

when a card is formatted, the images on that card are usually not recoverable. But I don't get it, how could you accidentally format...on my camera, the format option is deep in the menu, plus it asks you one last time if you want to format. Just curioius if you thought it meant something else.
