How To Know That Usb Flash Memory Is Connected?
Hi
I'm writing a windows application in BC6 , and now I need to check the existence of the file when Flash memory is connected to the computer ... How I can do it when I don't know the letter drive that will be assigned to the Flash memory ?

Very well, if you know the exact file name, why don’t you use a kind of brute force?
what can it be? D, E, F, G, H, I, J… Look for d:filename. If there is an error then use e:filename… Better to use a loop.
Seems dirty? Yeah. But maybe simple. Hope you can find a better way.
If you are using Windows XP look at the far right corner in the bottom and if u see a green arrow on top of a grey box and it shows the new installed devices, then you would see that ur usb flash memory is connected. If you don’t see this then just go to your COMPUTER and check for any removable disk.
double click on each drive until one pops up with the files in it.
it’ll be listed under “Devices with removable storage.
go to my computer and it will show up
