I Have A Usb Memory Stick – How Can I Make It Password Protected?
I have recently bought an 8GB USB memory stick/Flash drive.
I have quite a bit of private data on it, and as i keep it on my keychain, i would like to make it password protected or encrypted somehow.
Is this possible, if so. How?
Thanks

Install Password Protect USB on your USB stick, place all the sensitive files into a folder and then protect the folder. When you protect a folder, it is automatically encrypted.
When you need to access your data, run Password Protect USB from the installation directory on your USB stick (double-click the password-protect.exe file in Windows Explorer), select the folder from the list and enter the password. That’s it.

The easiest way would be to use file encryption, or even easier password protect individual files: save as, then, tools, security, in the naming pop up for microsoft stuff.
Just putting them in a secure folder would possibly enable anyone who found the stick to use administrator rights on their own computer to open the files.
You can download programs to password protect your usb stick but most of them only work on the computer you install them on. If you plug them into another pc then the password disappears.
create a folder on teh usb drive that is password protected and encrypted, then store all your data inside of it.

Well you cant, you have to buy a usb stick with password protection on it already.
