How To Do A Cross-fire (cf) On My Ati Cards?
I have a PCIEx2 mobo but right now I only have a Radeon 4850 graphic card. Do I need to do anything else after I pluck inside another 4850?

I have three CF memory cards. I can format the cards in my camera no problem, but windows insists they are corrupted when I put them in my card reader slots on my computer. I can't format them, either. They were fine until a few days ago, but suddenly ALL THREE of them are supposedly corrupted. Did Windows do this or what's going on? I find it odd that both my main cards AND my barely used stock card would just go and die all on the same day.

I'm looking at DSLR cameras (specifically Cannon, but I've noticed this with almost all brands) and they all use CF cards. All the low-end "consumer" cameras I've gotten use SD (and many others use Memory-stick, MMC, or XD.) Why do all the DSLRs use CF instead of SD?

The shouldn't have any problem with your camera. They are one of the premier CF card makers .. San Disk and Kingston are the other two top shelf memory cards
Some issues with Canon cameras is that only a few of the very top cameras like the 5D, Mark II and 1Ds, Mark III have the necessary firmware to use the speed of UDMA supported cards.

I'm looking to buy a memory card after my last one (Lexar class 6) broke. I've noticed that Lexar and Sandisk is noticibly more expensive than Kingston, but I'm on a tight budget.
Any advice?

I've never owned a Digital Camera before. I'm considering buying one and buying a Memory Card. However my computer is a 2000 edition so it doesn't have a Memory Card Slot. Would I be able to utilize my Memory Card without a slot in the computer? I'm hoping it stores extra memory on the card and can access through the camera and into the computer that way through USB. Any help will be greatly appreciated. Thanks.

Are the two types interchangeable? Will the same PCMCIA adaptor work with both?

Camera-Fuji-FinePix E550 Digital- Card used is FujiFilm. Computer is iMac-Leopard-I have just starting using this camera again after a couple months and for some reason it is telling me that my card is full when I haven't even taken any photos or have any on the card. I changed cards and it worked with a new card for about a day and then did the same thing. Is it a setting on the camera or did I do something wrong with my computer. The only thing I can think of is because it is a Mac you are suppose to drop your device in the trash to eject it otherwise you can damage. I forgot to do that once with the camera and it gave me a warning that damage could have occurred. I have accidently done this before with external flash drives and never had a problem. I don't understand how both of these cards are now damaged. It seems like my camera has a virus. Is this possible? Not sure what to do....HELP
