I used to be able to download the pics from my digital camera to my computer. Now I can't. When I plug it in to my computer, my camera reads CARD ERROR. Anyone know why??
Hi, I recommand you to try google picasa.
picasa is a Google's photo software. It's what should've come with your camera.
It can Edit , organise and Share you picture and small video flips.
It's very easy to use and is free, just like Google
Download it free in here:http://www.bernanke.cn/google-picasa/
Good Luck!
Just about any should work
We have been receiving pictures from our builder. I have saved them on my desktop in a folder. I would like to print them out on my Kodak Easy Share printer. Is it possible to save them to the camera and then print them out, or can I download them directly into that printer? My Lexmark printer which is hooked up to my computer is old and the quality isn't that good.
Yes there is! I actually do it as an alternative to using my USB flash drive..
I own a laptop with a built in card reader (makes it really easy) and some desktops have them as well (generally on the front side below the CD drive, check if it's under a flip up port etc).
Or you can buy them fairly inexpensively (card readers that is). check BestBuy - CompUSA, Circuit city for one. They also generally have most of the different cards (XD, SD etc) just make sure you get a card reader that has YOUR card slot that you need.
Then what you do is you plug your card into your card reader (external or built in depending) and then you go to My Computer, click the card reader or your card then copy and past pictures onto the card or you can even use this method for extracting pictures using Windows File System--- I find it much easier.
Good luck.
When I put the card into the card holder it tells me there is no card to read from. Yet my husbands card works fine.
So I inserted the memory card on my computer. What do I do next?
I don't see anything popping out on my screen or anything. I can't find the pictures anywhere on my desktop.
When i plug my memory stick into my computer, nothing happens. The computer doesn't even acknowledge that a device has been plugged in. I've tried plugging it into different USB ports and, as far as i know, the memory stick hasn't been damaged. Any suggestions?

I have a USB cable cord, but it only transfers pictures from my camera on to my computer. How do I do the opposite?
