Its means you have slid the little tab on the side of the memory card to the lock position to prevent files being deleted.

when i plug in my usb memory drive it prompts for driver. In XP no driver was needed . u simply went to my computer and opened up removable drive but not on my vista machine. This is getting to be a pain in the rear anyone know a solution.?

i bought this usb memory stick because my computer has noooooooooooo memory and its quite ridiculous. but anyways, i was wondering if the information would automatically go onto this disk or what.... any details would do wonders thanks

i only want sandisk rescue pro deluxe, not any other file recovery programs. would really like an answer, thanks.

+ how do i remove protection on it so i can delete photo's on my computer.

if it has a Pentium 3 then the type of memory is SDRAM PC100.
if it's a Pentium 2 i'm not sure. could be either SDRAM PC66 or PC100 (check the sticker on the existing memory stick).

I'm using a 10.2mp camera. They took less time when I used a 6.2mp camera.

I just ordered an adapter which lets me use a memory stick pro duo in my Sony A300 Compact Flash slot and I was wondering if that would affect my speed in recording pictures at all (in comparison to directly using a Compact Flash that is).
