In Recovering Deleted Files Fr A Compact Flash Card, Do U Get To Recover All Files Or Just The Newly Deleted?
I wanted to know if ALL files can be recovered from a CF card or just the ones which were recently deleted.

I have a Kingston Technology 2GB "Elite Pro" 50x speed CompactFlash card that died half-way through my vacation, I basically want to know if there is any way I can recover the photos (from my sister's wedding) that are on the card.
I have a Minolta Dynax/Maxxum 5D, and while using it in this camera it stopped working for no apparant reason - I took photos in the morning no problem, I turn the camera on an hour or so later to snap some more and it tells me that it can't read the card, and asks if I want to format it.
I've tried it in a Canon Digital Rebel XT - the camera won't turn on with this CF card inserted. I've tried it in a couple of other digital cameras that report read errors and so won't access the contents. I've tried a few card readers on my PC, but none of them will let Windows 'see' that a card has been inserted.
I've since filled a number of other CF cards without issue, and so the camera is not at fault.

After i plug my SD card into my USB reader i can view pictures and short video clips i have taken, i want to know how to move existing pictures and video clips i have saved on my computer to the SD card so i can view/watch them like all the other media i have taken with the camera, currently, it recognizes the file, but says that it can't play the file.

I have an ACER PC with available USB ports at the front. I assume the memory stick I bought (256mb) that you just plug it in and copy files to it. It did come with a setup disk but there is no autostart program. How do I assign a root drive to the memory stick? What do I do?

Last night I accidently deleted a 20-second video from the SD memory card using my Canon SD200. Is there any way to recover the video from the card or is in lost forever?

I,ve been asked to back up my files before Dell can restore the system. I´d like to keep the info in this 2G memory stick. Could you give me some kind of "Mickey Mouse" instructions - fool proof - so I can do so, please?

I get a "disk full" error even though the card is empty, when I try to copy several files at once. But if I use a PC, it works. Argh!
