CF card, a microdrive refuses to work,but has photos stored on it. Has been shaked, and has a small rattling sound. Is there anyway to recover the images?

I shot 150 photos on my Nikon using compact flash card, and I see the photos on the camera but when I try to download using usb reader, I cannot open the card drive, it tell me card is not formatted do I want to format card? How do I get these pics off my card like they appear while in the camera?

im using a sony dslr a200
if you format it - the answer is no
after awhile it does take less pictures
You can use Windows Explorer - the camera is treated as an additional disk drive.
