Yes there is! I actually do it as an alternative to using my USB flash drive..
I own a laptop with a built in card reader (makes it really easy) and some desktops have them as well (generally on the front side below the CD drive, check if it's under a flip up port etc).
Or you can buy them fairly inexpensively (card readers that is). check BestBuy - CompUSA, Circuit city for one. They also generally have most of the different cards (XD, SD etc) just make sure you get a card reader that has YOUR card slot that you need.
Then what you do is you plug your card into your card reader (external or built in depending) and then you go to My Computer, click the card reader or your card then copy and past pictures onto the card or you can even use this method for extracting pictures using Windows File System--- I find it much easier.
Good luck.

Or, are the variety of brands all the same? I'm looking at a 4G card that costs around $38.00. Reasonable?

Does an adapter, of sorts, exist to connect a USB Flash Memory Drive into a piece of equipment that uses a SD Card? I would like to use a USB Flash Drive instead of the SD Card.

I just got a new phone and I have one of those microSD cards with a ton of music on it. I really don't want to delete the music I already have b/c I really like it. I tried bluetoothing it to my pocket pc which also has memory card but for some reason it won't let me save the music to it. I need to format my card that way I can use my music as ringtone. The reason I don't want to delete my music is b/c its the full songs and its like 100+ songs. Someone gave me this card with a ton of music that I like so I don't want to delet them. Some please help

I know that you can order a black 32GB Zune HD off of www.zuneoriginals.net, but I'm curious is there's a way to install a 32GB SSD or Flash Memory into a Zune HD 16GB. I know this was possible with the 2nd Generation Zunes, and I'd really love to have an SSD in an HD.
