Taking Vacation. Where To Save Photos From My Digital Cf Card?

I'm going on vacation to NYC. I have a Canon SLR camera and I have a 4 GB CF Card. I'll be in the city for like 5 days. I'm pretty sure I'll fill up that card within a day considering I'm shooting high quality + RAW. Are there any options as to where/how to store my photos so that I can clear the card for more use? I don't own a laptop, and I really don't want to spend $200 just on CF cards to ensure I have enough space.
So I really just need a service or something that will burn them all to a DVD for me so I can clear room for more photos. Is there a device or service for that? Should I just buy more CF Cards? Or is the best solution to bring my external HDD and hope to find a computer to let me transfer my photos there?

Buy more cards – you should always have more than one anyway.
You can get 8 gb cards for under 50 quid in the UK – I am sure you can find them in the US for about 30-40 dollars if you try.

If you had a laptop you could use that or you could download them onto a 2.0 Flash Drive too, but I’m sure you can find a place in the Big Apple that’s for sure! Having more than one CF card is always a good idea though. Here’s a site that has compact cards and other media digital storage.

I always bring my laptop, but I guess you could go to an internet cafe to burn them onto a DVD.
However, you certainly want more than a single 4GB card!!!

The are Duane Reade Drug stores on every few corners. They can burn your images to disks for you cheaply.

    You have several options:
    1. Larger CF cards 8G and 16G cards (several) for quick change.
    2. Download card to computer and burn DVD.
    3. Download to computer and save to 16G or 32G thumb drive.
    4. Download to 20G to 120G pocket hard drive.
If you are shooting RAW+JPG for a total of 15MP, each 4G CF card will yield approximately 220 frames.
If your Canon does not currently handle CF cards larger than 8G, you can check the Canon download website to see if they have a firmware update for that feature.
